
Good supervision should be more than case management or ticking ethical boxes.
It should be a place where you can think deeply about your work, reflect honestly on yourself as a therapist, and feel supported — especially when the work becomes complex, stuck, emotionally demanding or uncertain.
I offer supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists working with individuals and couples, both in private practice and within organisations. I also work with trainees and newly qualified therapists who are developing confidence in their clinical voice.
My approach to supervision is collaborative, thoughtful and relational. I aim to create a space where you can bring not only your clients and ethical dilemmas, but also your uncertainty, frustration, self-doubt, reactions and blind spots — without fear of judgement.

I have over thirty years’ experience as a therapist in universities, charities and private practice, and I continue to value supervision as an essential and creative part of therapeutic work. I believe good supervision should support both safe practice and the development of a therapist’s depth, authenticity and resilience.
