Making an Appointment

If you would like to arrange an initial assessment appointment, I would be very pleased to hear from you.

This first session lasts 50 minutes (or up to an hour for couples) and offers a space for us to slow things down and really think together about what’s going on for you, and whether further therapy with me feels like the right fit.

It’s a chance for you to get a sense of how I work, and to gauge whether you feel comfortable and at ease talking with me — because that sense of fit really matters.

Before the appointment, I will ask for your email address so I can send you a brief confidential personal information form to complete in advance.

I am pleased to be able to offer face-to-face or online (Googlemeet, FaceTime or WhatsApp) sessions. For face-to-face sessions you may, if you prefer, wear a mask and request that I do so too.

To book an assessment, please call 07930 123085: you will usually hear my answerphone so please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible. No one else has access to this answerphone. Alternatively you can click here to email me and I will reply as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours.

I look forward to hearing from you and to meeting you.

"Psychotherapy won't work for everyone; one has to be in the right place in one's mind, one has to stumble on a good therapist and be in a position to give the process due time and care. That said, with a fair wind, psychotherapy also has the chance to be the best thing we ever get round to doing."

Please note: the service I offer is not suitable for emergency needs. If you feel suicidal now, or feel that you need immediate help, please contact your GP or your local Accident and Emergency Department. The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day and you can be in touch with them by telephoning 116 123.
